Chingay in the Heartlands

Fire Dragon Display and performance by China Troops after dinner
The Duo waiting patiently with their dad for the Chingay Procession which started only about 11pm!!
Mommy was a road marshall, keeping people off the road.
The beautiful floats
The kids arrived about 10 after their dinner at their grandad's place . They were treated to a spectacular dragon dance by a China Troop with many flash fireworks. IT was awesome. Then they had to wait for the Chingay procession to arrive from Ang Mo Kio and Sengkang was the last stop. They were both bored and kept playing with my 'sword', a light stick that I was holding as a road marshall. They were supposed to arrive at 10ish but it was delayed by traffic conditions till almost closed to 11pm. The kids were thrilled and hubby took lots of pictures and videos (not uploaded!) The kids boarded the floats which stayed for about half an hour to take more pictures. It was almost 12 when we finally got home!
