Nowadays during our car trips, we have been telling alot of short stories. It usually goes like this. Once upon a time...the end. One night, on the way back from CompassPoint, the hubby challenged the kids to make up the longest story and for a while nobody spoke. Kyle did not want to ...so after waiting for a while, Meryl went....( I will try and remember as much as possbile the exact words she used)
Once upon a time, there a little boy named Kyle. He was very naughty. One day he played at the escalator and played and played. Then the police came and catch him away. Then they brought him to the jail and locked him up. He cried and cried so loud for his mother but his mother cannot hear him. His mommy was very far away and cannot hear him. Then he cried and he cried for his mommy again. (Paused for a while) The XLR8 ( from Ben 10) came and rescued him away from the prison and then he was free again. The end.
I think the story was longer than this but I cannot remember the other details. This was roughly the gist of it.
That Night, she talked and talked non-stop. I had trouble getting her to STOP talking and sleep (They were sleeping with us that night). Then she coughed and coughed after I told them noise out. She claimed that it was because she had told such a long story earlier in the car!
